My voluntary service over-seas in Tunisia |
I wanted to discover the world, I opted for a Voluntary Service Over-seas. Actually, I have been one of the last ones, because I concluded it in late April 2002! Since early 2002, conscription does not exist any more in France.
The DCC (Catholic Delegation for Co-operation) sent me in Tunis. I have been working in a private elementary school for two school years (from September 2000 to July 2002). On the programme:
In the same time, I have discovered the local language and culture. It has been a unique and wonderful experience.
